Activity steps
Step 1: Pre-class engagement with materials
Students review readings, lecture notes, or videos via Interactive Document, where they highlight key concepts and annotate difficult sections. This step prepares students to generate meaningful questions.

Step 2: Student-generated questions submission
Students create multiple-choice or open-ended questions based on their learning, submitting them through Comprehension. They include an explanation of why their question is important and how it relates to course concepts.

Step 3: Student evaluation of questions
Students evaluate two peer-generated questions, responding to them and giving constructive feedback. This encourages peer learning and refines question quality.

Step 4: Instructor highlights best student questions
The instructor selects high-quality student questions and integrates them into an Interactive Presentation. During class, students debate answers, upvote responses, and refine understanding through discussion.

Step 5: Reflection on learning & engagement
Students complete a self assessment component, reflecting on: Their question creation process; What they learned from reviewing peer questions.; How their understanding changed after class discussion. This step is incorporated in the previous steps.

Step 6: Final instructor feedback on key takeaways
The instructor provides a summary of student learning and clarifies any remaining misconceptions using Assignment Review.
