Students work on the 1st draft
Instructors provide detailed instructions, guidelines, and materials for the writing assignment. Once students understood the requirements, they proceed to work on the first draft.

Personalized feedback on 1st draft
Students receive instant, formative feedback on low-level writing skills like reference styles, spelling, grammar, and more within Automated Feedback tool.

Students work on 2nd draft
Students decide on which feedback to improve on, and proceed to produce the second draft.

Peer feedback on 2nd draft
Students submit the 2nd draft to Peer Review tool and provide feedback on their peers’ submissions, based on a set of criteria. This step holds students responsible for their own writing.

Self assessment of the 2nd draft
Students reflect on their own work based on the same criteria as in the peer review activity. During the peer and self-assessment step, students receive feedback tips to guide them in delivering quality feedback.

Read and rate received feedback
Students can see an overview of all feedback, and rate the quality of their received feedback on a scale from 1-10, with the addition of comments on how to improve.

In-class reflection
Based on learning analytics from the peer and self assessment step, instructors organize a clarification session to discuss the existing knowledge gaps with students

Final draft submission and teacher feedback
Students improve and finalize the writing based on the feedback and teacher insights. They then submit the work and receive teacher feedback within Assignment Review tool.

Self reflection
Students reflect on what feedback was useful to them, and which feedback they decided not to implement and why. This can help with their self-regulatory learning, and reflect on how they took action, what they want to improve and how.
