How to facilitate effective group work at business schools

Preparing students to thrive in the business world by equipping them with cross-functional skills such as leadership, collaboration and communication lies at the heart of business education. Development of these skills relies heavily on maintaining an effective feedback loop among students, ensuring group accountability, and facilitating in-class discussions. However, this can be challenging as instructors often find themselves facing pedagogical problems such as free-riding in group work, low feedback quality, result-oriented assessment or learner disengagement.

This 45-min webinar aims to gather teachers and instructional designers from business schools in a panel discussion to share and exchange ideas on improving group dynamics and social loafing in team based education.
