Be part of the Learning Design Community Awards! Discover how educators worldwide are creating impactful learning experiences, explore the submission process, and celebrate innovation by submitting your own activity.
One year ago, we asked ourselves a simple question: What if educators could come together in a shared space to exchange their most effective learning designs and collectively reimagine the future of education?
This question became the inspiration behind a groundbreaking initiative: the Learning Design Community (LDC). The LDC is an open invitation to educators from all over the world to explore how learning can be more collaborative, intentional, and human-centered.
Over the past year, that seed has grown into something remarkable.
Educators and learning designers from across the globe have submitted powerful, creative activities: from reimagined assessments to authentic peer feedback experiences. Every contribution has been rooted in the same spirit: designing learning with purpose, care, and impact.
The LDC is now a thriving, global community connected by a shared passion for meaningful learning design. And now, it’s time to take the next step:
The LDC Awards are our way of recognizing outstanding learning activities created with FeedbackFruits. This isn’t just about creative ideas, it’s about the educators who turn those ideas into real experiences that transform student learning.
These are the designs that make learning more engaging, more inclusive, and more effective.
Because behind every great learning experience is someone who has asked:
"How can this be better for my students?"
This work often happens quietly, without big fuss. The LDC Awards shine a light on the educators, learning designers, and institutions shaping the future of education, one thoughtful activity at a time.
Submissions will be recognized in 3 categories:
You’re eligible if you:
If your activity is already in the LDC, it will automatically be considered, unless you choose to opt out.
Finalists will be chosen by a panel of expert jury, then shared with the global community for voting. The celebration on December 11 will be a livestream event with live presentations, expert insights, and stories from across the LDC.
In just one year, the Learning Design Community has become more than we ever imagined: a space where bold ideas and small experiments meet, where educators support and challenge each other, and where learning design is not just shared , it’s celebrated.
The LDC Awards are your chance to be appreciated for the work you do every day.
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, your designs matter and now is the perfect time to share them.
