Activity steps
- Read instructions: Students review the activity guidelines and learning objectives to understand the task requirements.
- Open document: Students open the interactive document to find their assigned pair's section.
- Record sentences: Students click on the discussion thread, and record a short audio of the sentence, stressing different words to convey varying meanings.
- Peer feedback: After submitting their recordings, students listen to their classmates’ sentences and provide constructive comments within the discussion thread of the interactive document.
- Grading: Students are given a grade for replying to at least 2 discussion threads.

In this activity
- The primary focus of the activity is practicing sentence stress, but the concept can be adapted to other relevant topics using recordings in interactive document discussion threads.
- Students are organized into pairs to complete the activity, though this grouping can be adjusted to suit your class size or structure.
- Anonymity is disabled, so students can see who commented on their recordings; this setting can be changed if needed.
- Grading is based on students replying to at least two peer recordings within the discussion threads, but this requirement can be modified according to course needs.
